SDI Sidemount

The Sidemount course will have you wondering why you have always worn a tank on your back! With the easy access to the values on the two primary tanks, as well as the streamlined position, sidemount diving is a safe and comfortable gear configuration.

This sidemount diving course will ease you into the technical diving mentality and introduce you to the precision required in all aspects of diving prior to moving on to other technical diving courses.

On the Sidemount course you will learn about gas management using independent cylinders, equipment considerations like cylinder options, regulator options, BCD/harness options, proper weighting, different equipment configurations, proper underwater communication, problem-solving and S-drills.

The Sidemount diving course usually takes two days to complete. You need to be at least 15 years old with an Open Water certification to register for the course.

This certification available will be SDI. If you’d like to progress in to technical diving we also recommend TDI Sidemount which costs 15,000B

Don’t forget! Because of the extra nitrogen your body builds up while scuba diving, you cannot fly within 24hrs of your last dive.
