Starting from just 8 years old we can offer a variety of scuba options for the kids including the 1 day Bubblemaker Course where we descend to about 2 meters. At 10 years old we can start you on your 3 day Junior Open Water Course with a license to dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters. And 15 years and older we can get you on your Open Water Course and have you licensed to dive to 18 meters in just 3 days. Bubblemaker for 8-10 year olds.
Bubblemaker is the very first chance of diving for the kids to try out scuba gear and take their first breaths underwater. It gives kids a chance to use scuba gear (mask, fins, tank, BCD with low-pressure inflator, regulator, and submersible pressure gauge) in a confined-water environment and, well, make bubbles underwater. During this very basic introduction to scuba, children learn about scuba equipment and how it works. Afterwards, they get a chance to try it out. They learn to equalize, clear a regulator and mask, and to breathe efficiently, all while an instructor supervises.

Discover Scuba Diving 10 years and over
The Discover Scuba Diving experience gives you the opportunity to experience the underwater world for real. This one-day Basic Scuba Diver experience might be just what you need. In water shallow enough to stand up in your Instructor will demonstrate a few handy skills to know and have you practice these skills together and when ready your Instructor will bring you down to a depth of 5 meters and let you truly experience the feeling of weightlessness in a whole new world with all different types of strange fish and coral to watch and enjoy.

Junior Open Water Course – 10-15 years
This is the beginner scuba diving license that we would recommend the most if you have the time and want to get certified. It does require a swim test and it takes 3 days and in that time we will spend one day learning about the skills you need to know in diving and then going into the ocean in a depth shallow enough to stand up in and then practicing those skills in a confined environment. The following 2 days will consist of 4 more dives to a maximum depth of 12 meters at 4 different divesites looking at fish and coral and learning about scuba diving. Students certified as Junior Open Water Divers must dive under the supervision of a dive professional or with a certified adult in conditions and environments equivalent to their dive training. Students are certified to a maximum depth of 12 meters/40 feet.

The Open Water Diver – 16 years and over
This is pretty much the same as the Junior Open Water license but for grown ups! It consists of three phases; knowledge development, a confined water dive to learn basic scuba skills and four open water dives including a swim test. The only difference between the 2 courses is maximum depth. On the Open Water Course we will take you down as deep as 18 meters and gives students the knowledge and training necessary to dive with an equally or more qualified buddy, in conditions and environments equivalent to their training, in depths shallower than 18 meters/60 feet.
