Diving in Thailand, East & West side!

If you are looking for a holiday of a lifetime then you absolutely must consider diving in Thailand. With warm crystal clear waters, blue skies & sunshine the 1000 plus islands and beaches that adorn Thailand will always make this country a mecca for the divers the world over.
On the west coast of Thailand the Similan & Surin Islands beckon. Nine incredible islands make up the Similan Islands & a little further north lie the the islands of Koh Surin where the Moke Sea gysies live. Dive sites in this area that make diving in Thailand so popular are sites like Richeleieu Rock, Elephant Head, Koh Bon & Koh Tachai.
Closer to the islands of Phuket, Phi Phi & Ko Lanta lie the fantastic Hin Daeng & Hin Muang aswell as Thailands most famous ship wreck the King Cruiser.
Whizzing over to the East coast now lies the incredible island of Koh Tao. Responsible for producing more scuba diving certifications than anywhere else in the world you can see why the minute you set foot here. The island has a great vibe & the divesites are perfect for training with great viz, warm water & gentle sloping reefs & dramatic rock formations. But the real crowd pulling dive sites around Koh Tao are Chumphon Pinnacle & probably the best dive site in the Gulf of Thailand the world famous Sail Rock.
The waters around Thailand are full of Marine life with many species of shark including everyones favourite the whaleshark & also large manta rays that come in groups and hang out at cleaning stations sometimes for weeks on end.
Scuba diving in Thailand mainly happens off speedboats or old converted fishing boats if you are diving the waters around Koh Tao, but on the west coast of Thailand you will find a huge selection of liveaboards available able to cater for all budgets that head out for 4 days and nights of sundrenched bliss. A hotel on water or … the holiday of a lifetime.
