Posting now a rather long overdue update as to our new location. I’d like to introduce you to our new Koh Tao Dive Center here in Sairee Village, Sairee Beach! Big Blue Diving is now located at Silver Sand Resort, coincidentally bang next door to where we were 10 years ago at Big Blue 1.
Silver Sand is home to some of Koh Tao’s most popular spots including Fizz, New Heaven Bakery, The Lazy Bar, and Chu Chu’s so we are in esteemed company. We’ are also right behind Choppers, the islands best sports bar, and less than a minute from Barracuda Restaurant, Zest Sairee, and the Local Pub. Our beach front is literally bang center of Sairee Beach, and we couldn’t be happier with our new location.
We have occupied what was a Dive Center already which sadly didn’t survive Covid. But it did come with the essential ingredients of a Dive Center including a Dive Shop, operating space for Big Blue Tech, an equipment room, classrooms, a swimming pool and most importantly we have space to expand our operation once the long lasting effects of the covid hit tourism industry rebounds.
Having been abandoned for the best part of 2 years the new location has taken a while to get into shape but I’m hoping you will enjoy the photos and look forward to welcoming you here on your next well deserved holiday to Koh Tao.
