OK, so maybe you’re not going to be exploring coral reefs in gorgeous tropical locations anytime soon, but with Online Learning with SSI you can take some practical steps to improve your scuba skills at home.
You can take the first step of your Open Water Course scuba certification right from home. The course that you can take from your desktop is the first step for beginners to work towards a scuba diving certification and helps you to think forward and plan a future vacation.
The course takes about 8 hours to complete and includes three steps.
Step 1- Knowledge Development
This is the step you can take from home, where you’ll learn the basics of scuba safety and the basic principles of how to scuba dive.
Step 2-Confined Water Dives
Once social distancing measures are lifted you can move on to the next step which includes dives in controlled environments like swimming pools with qualified instructors.
Step 3-Open Water Dives
Once you are feeling confident and have got to this stage, you’ll be able to get out onto the ocean under supervision to complete dives in the open water.
If your kids are over the age of 10, they can also start their own Open Water Course scuba education from home.
