It’s the Dive Team! It’s not the location, the sunshine, or the diving that makes your holiday at Big Blue Diving Koh Tao the most memorable part of your vacation though of course it all helps. What really makes your experience with us so memorable & enjoyable is the people you meet here & the time you spend socializing with everyone here.
It’s the guys on your Open Water Course, and the camaraderie during your Divemaster Training, and your buddies in your dive group. Its the socializing over a cold beer while watching the sun set. It’s the greeting you get the minute you walk into our Dive center, & the swapping of contact details when you leave.
The fact you dived with a turtle or a whaleshark, or overcame your fears & accomplished your goal of getting certified as a scuba diver all add to the experience but the feeling of warmth, friendliness & family here is the number 1 reason our biggest form of advertising is word of mouth & recommendations.
And for that, I can only thank every single member of staff. Its hard to keep staff in a job that is such a transitional vocation. After all most of us became Dive Instructors or Divemasters to travel the world & have the necessary training to make us employable in those places we travel to. So to be able to say that we have members of staff here that have been with us for 10 years, (some of us have been here even longer), makes me feel that we must be doing something right. So I’d like to take this opportunity to thank every one of my Divemaster & Instructor team, my Freedivers, my Tech Divers, my videographers, my Conservationists, the guys at our retail outlet, my Thais & Burmese and my shop girls & managers for all the hard work and loyalty you have given me since the moment you arrived.
