Prerequisites

Sail Rock is suitable for any Open Water certified scuba diver to 18 meters or beyond, but you must be refreshed within the last 12 months. For exploring the deeper sections beyond 18 meters you need Advanced Level certification Or Deep certification.

• Schedule: Departures every 3 days

• Duration: Full-day dive trip 7:30-5pm

• Dives: 3 dives (2 dives at Sail Rock + 1 dive at Shark Island)

• Prerequisite: Open Water certification required

• 07:20 – Meet your divemaster at Big Blue Diving center

• 08:00 – Depart Koh Tao by boat

• 08:30 – Breakfast served onboard

• 10:00 – First dive at Sail Rock

• 11:00 – Surface interval

• 12:00 – Second dive at Sail Rock

• 13:00 – Surface Interval & Authentic Thai buffet lunch

• 15:00 – Third dive at Shark Island

• 16:00 – Depart Shark Island

• 17:00 – Return to Big Blue Diving

Are you Refreshed?

Please do not book your fun dives in if you are in need of a Refresher first! Here’s a rule of thumb for scuba refreshers based on experience level:

• Under 20 dives and haven’t dived in a year: Refresher course plus 2 easy, shallow afternoon dives to 12 meters maximum before resuming normal diving.
• Between 20-50 dives: Pool refresher only to practice fundamental skills and knock off the rust.
• 50+ dives and haven’t dived in 2 years: 2 afternoon ‘check out’ dives to get back into the rhythm.
