Loving the new website our team at Big Blue Pro have put together featuring a very modest write up of our very own celebrity SSI Instructor Trainer Simon Garrity or Mr.Scuba Schools International himself!
Simon is not only responsible for having trained every single member of staff here at Big Blue Diving, but is also a huge part of the SSI training team itself worldwide, having trained most of them too! He is the highest certifying SSI Instructor Trainer in the world!!! (No need for a Jeremy Clarkson voiceover, because it really is that cool!), and has over 2000 recreational scuba diving certifications and more than 1000 dive pro certs in his last 15 years as a scuba diving professional and has a 100% pass rate with his Instructor candidates.
He is one of the most respected individuals on the diving circuit whether it’s PADI, SSI, BSAC or RAID, and (thinks!) he is also extremely funny. He’s even been known to do a bit of Stand-up comedy on occasion, and is a regular host at our Divemaster Challenge nights, and likes to wear a wig, fishnets, high heels and a dress way more than is socially acceptable.
