With Rebreather diving you can enjoy the silent world that Cousteau talked about, by diving without the noise of your exhaust bubbles in your ears. Get closer to the fish. Breathe warm moist air – no more dry mouth! No matter how deep you go you consume the same amount of gas – no more lugging 15 litre tanks around for longer dives! Try diving on a Rebreather!
At Big Blue Tech we offer the Rebreather Course where you will learn about the history of rebreathers, how they work and most importantly, as your life depends on it, the maintenance and care of the unit before and after dives. Once you’ve tried this you won’t want to go back to open circuit scuba!
Rebreathers are more complex to use than open circuit scuba, and have more potential areas of risk therefore your training will require a greater level of skill, attention and situational awareness, which is usually derived from understanding the systems, diligent maintenance and overlearning the practical skills of operation that we will teach you.
Rebreathers are for explorers, photographers, and scientists, who wish to interact and record nature by blending in with it.
