Who dove the most on their Divemaster Training?

During your Divemaster Training you get to dive an unlimted amount of times so who holds the record for diving the most during their training? Well, a little known but very interesting fact about the manager of Big Blue Tech is that he is actually a record holder!

How many dives will you do on your Divemaster Training?

Andy Campbell broke the record way back in 2008 for the most amount of dives done during his Divemaster training, a record which, 12 years later still stands today!

Andy spent 62 days learning how to be a Divemaster. In that time he did 154 training dives with us, followed by an additional 24 dives in exactly 1 week in order to gain as much experience as possible. Thus amassing a total number of 178 dives or just under 3 dives a day on average. Of that 62 days training he has spent just under 6 days total underwater!

A Dive Machine

And you thought you were a Dive machine! It takes a certain breed to be this dedicated to the underwater world, a breed of whom become world re known, and respected by their peers and colleagues. Andy is now one of the most experienced educators in Tech Diving and a legend to boot!

Congratulations Andy for still holding the record after all these years.
